Contributions made to the OSU Student Wellness Center from this event have been placed in a separate fund that supports educational efforts regarding high-risk use of alcohol, consequences of other drug use, and learning how to care for friends who may have overdosed on alcohol and/or other drugs. Some of the programs from this project include the following:

  • The M.V.P. magnets are placed in every dorm room and university housing residence – the magnets describe the danger signs of friends who are drinking too much and how to get help.
  • 21st birthday cards sent to all students advising them of the dangers of drinking 21 shots
  • A poster campaign to promote taking care of friends in the event of an overdose of alcohol or drugs—it provides a “tear off” checklist about what to do in this emergency. To view larger image of the tear off, please click here:   Front | Back
  • CHOICES is an interactive journal to help first year students, first year athletes, and intramural and sport club participants be proactive about choices involving alcohol. Forward | Guide
